It’s been raining nonstop since 24 hours now and while in Europe, I know that would be nothing to be happy about. In this desert state, of India, it’s time for joy.

An uncle of mine was in the service of the Indian airforce. Just before retiring he was posted in Bikaner. He always complained of lack of enough water on phone :) .
This post reminded me of those days. This is really reaally good news for all the people over there. Bdw, where are u living?

    • justanotherwakeupcall August 23, 2012 at 6:25 am:08 #

I live in Ajmer somesh, that’s very close to Jaipur and pushkar! If you’re familiar with them. This time Bikaner has had great rains:)

Yeah, I am! I may have been bad at history, I surely know Jaipur, the famous Pushkar lake, Udaypur marble palace and all those places synonymous with the great name of Ranapratap etc..

Most of my relatives have visited Rajasthan and I have seen those places in photos. I hope to visit those places some day myself. :) When I do, I am gonna drop in at ur restaurant for sure :)

Thanks! kathryn. The rain’s still coming, and now everyone here is watching it with baited breath now. there is a very thin line here between a blessing and a curse, if the downpour continues for much longer it may cause havoc. Keeping our fingers crossed! The baby’s all blessing though :) and making us all very happy :)
