the fire  burns

eternally

shades of red

claim me, smiling

I bid adieu

I like the third one the best 🙂 an eternal fire in the shades of the autumn leaves. Beautifully said, and welcome to the Heights, Sapna.

    1. That was prompt! thanks Leo 🙂 I am new to Haiku, but absolutely love the contradictions in the form – the simplicity of its words ! and the depth of their meaning!

Your post came up during my haiku hop time. 🙂 So was prompt. If it was in morning, would be delayed till evening. Reading all the entries is no little task 😀 but trying my best 😉

If were to suggest, I’d say, go for a single type of alignment than the criss-cross. Makes better reading 😀 Have fun, and see you again soon.

      2. I wanted the single alignment too. But for some reason it doesn’t work. The spaces I enter don’t stay and the different verses run into each other. It starts to look like one poem, and that just won’t do. Thus found this byway 😦

    1. thanks Patti for the visit and the encouragement

  3. You make it seem easy to bid adieu. Is it?

    My Lady Autumn
