Window

  Through the window

She watches

The long tarred road

That winds down

To the big city , dazzling  with lights

The place where dreams are spun

Longingly she looks

At the woman

Driving purposefully by

How fulfilling her life!

How meaningful!

She sighs

She steers down the road

Back to the City

With its glimmering lights

She looks longingly at the cosy cottage

And the woman who sits by the window

Looking out

How fulfilled her life!

How meaningful!

She sighs

  1. Layers of dreams offered by sight of big city expressed beautifully. I can relate to the post:)

  2. How often we think to ourselves, the other persons life must be better. I loved this, beautifully done.
